We've upgraded to Drupal!

It was time to let Wordpress go and upgrade CybercomChannel platform to Drupal. This allows us to create more dynamic web content and try out the latest web technologies. We're planning on introducing our new inventions here on the updated site. In addition to just web technologies we're introducing new innovations and ideas in the areas of mobile media, cloud services and hardware adaptation. The fine details will be crafted on-the-go. We're happy to see where we're going at.

About Drupal

Drupal is great developing platform. The "access points" on different levels from the core to the high level modules makes it easy to either customize 3rd party modules or start extending and/or changing the core functionality. The access points are called hooks. Hooking is great way to get in the middle of the process of generating the content. Multiple hooks - practically function calls - make it easy to choose the point where it's necessary to step in and do things differently than usually. Thus the processcan be intervened only when necessary. There's no need to recreate the wheel over and over again. Great!

Drupal also has very large user base and active development community. Very many functionalities are already made to modules by other Drupal enthusiasts or groups. Modules are easy way to extend Drupal beyond its basic installation. It is extremely useful to have thousands of developers creating and fine tuning features instead of keeping everything closed and in-house.

It's all about the content

Content is the most important part of any website and that's where Drupal shines. Overall ease of use and powerful wysiwyg editors makes content creation easy even for mundane users. Drupal polished admin user interface and improved speed and scalability. We are excited to tell you more about our projects soon.
